Meet the team.

Hunter Arterburn serves as Executive Director of The Center, bringing more than 25 years of experience in broadcasting, leadership, marketing and community engagement. A Sidney native, he began his broadcasting career with KSID Radio as a sixth grader and later returned home to help launch and lead 987 The Big Boy. Hunter believes strong organizations are built through trust, attention to detail, great storytelling and a genuine investment in their communities. Outside of work, Hunter enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife, Avery, and daughters, Olivia and Nola.

Kendyl Wintholz serves as Sports Director at The Center, creating fun, competitive and accessible athletic opportunities for athletes of all ages and skill levels. A former NCAA Division II softball player at Chadron State College, she brings experience in athletics, coaching and leadership, including serving as President of the NCAA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Before becoming Sports Director, Kendyl worked as an educator and coached youth softball in Sidney. Today, she focuses on growing local sports programming, improving the experience for athletes and families, developing coaches and officials, and creating new opportunities for community recreation. Her goal is to build programs that emphasize skill development, confidence, sportsmanship and a lifelong love of sports.

Melanie is the Fitness Director at The Center and The Training Room. She is a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Fitness and Nutrition Coach, and Nationally Registered EMT. She is passionate about helping people find activities that enhance their lives — building strength, flexibility, mobility, balance, breathing, and nutritional support along the way.
