Established in 1991, The Center has been a place for Cheyenne County to gather, grow and belong.
Built by our community and strengthened by the people who use it every day, The Center brings recreation, wellness, childcare and community connection together under one roof.
The Center is more than a building. It’s a place where our community comes together.
On any given day, that might mean a child discovering an activity or sport for the first time, a parent getting in an early-morning workout, kids learning and growing in childcare, or friends gathering around a table. Different ages. Different reasons for walking through the door. One community.
For more than 35 years, The Center has grown alongside Cheyenne County, adapting to meet changing needs while staying focused on something that hasn’t changed: bringing people together through wellness, recreation and meaningful community experiences.

The Center has changed throughout its history because Cheyenne County has changed with it. That work continues today.
