The Center has partnered with Sidney photographer Natasha Haupt and her new company, 308 Sports Media, to provide individual, team and action photography throughout its youth sports leagues.
The partnership marks the return of organized league photography to The Center for the first time since before 2020.
/What families can expect
Beginning with the fall 2026 season, Haupt will photograph individual athletes and teams, with photos available for families to purchase. She will also attend games throughout the season to capture action photos of athletes competing. Picture dates will be announced closer to the start of each sports season.
“I'm excited to partner with the Community Center because it's such a big part of bringing our community together,” Haupt said. “I love sports, and I love being able to capture kids having fun and doing what they love. It's pretty special to get to be a small part of that.”
Haupt launched 308 Sports Media with a focus on sports, media days, special moments and storytelling through photography. In addition to scheduled picture days, she said her goal is to document moments that happen naturally throughout a season.
“I'll be taking photos throughout the leagues, and parents can find the photos on the 308 Sports Media Facebook page,” Haupt said. “My hope is that families can sit back, enjoy the game, and still have some great photos to remember the season.”
/Bringing league photos back
Sports Director Kendyl Wintholz said bringing photography back adds another element to the experience The Center wants to provide for young athletes and their families.
“It's been several years since our families have had this opportunity through our leagues, so we're excited to bring it back,” Wintholz said. “Kids grow up fast, and these seasons go by even faster. Tasha will give families something they can keep long after the final game is over.”
/Starting this fall
The photography partnership will begin with The Center's youth volleyball and flag football seasons this fall. Additional information, including picture dates and purchasing details, will be announced as individual seasons approach.
