SIDNEY, Neb. - The Rock Docs capped off the Cheyenne County Community Center’s summer Adult Coed Softball League by capturing the 2026 tournament championship Thursday night at Legion Park.
Rock Docs entered the final night through the winner’s bracket and defeated Sidney Regional Medical Center in the semifinal to advance directly to the championship round.
Cregger Bombers battled through the consolation bracket, defeating SRMC to earn a shot at Rock Docs in the championship. Cregger Bombers handed Rock Docs their first tournament loss in Game 14, forcing a winner-take-all finale.
With the league title on the line, Rock Docs responded in the decisive Game 15, defeating Cregger Bombers to secure the championship shortly before midnight. The double-elimination tournament brought the summer season to a close after eight teams competed for the league title.
